What is included in our DJ packages?

A professional sound system

Spectrum productions uses professional DJ equipment. JBL, Crown, Shure, Numark, Yamaha, American DJ, ect.
We like to be prepared by always have back up equipment on hand for any surprises.
Our equipment is well maintained. In the 23 years we have been in business we have never had faulty equipment affect our performance.

Wireless microphone for announcements

A wireless microphone will be placed at the head table so it will be available for any toasts or speeches. Public speaking is difficult enough. This allows the best man, maid of honor, or father of the bride to be comfortable at their table or at their rightful place next to the bride and groom.

Professional DJ/ Emcee

Our DJ will show up 11/2 to 2 hours before the event. This will give the DJ ample time to set up the equipment, perform a sound check, and go over the event details with the facility staff or manager.
The DJ will be punctual and appropriately dressed for the occasion.
Spectrum DJ’s will act as emcee for the evening making all necessary announcements such as guest seating for dinner, formal introduction of the bridal party, introductions for the toasts or speeches, cutting of the cake, and the bouquet/garter toss.

There will be continuous music throughout the event. We do not take any breaks.

You can choose the music for the event or allow our professional disc jockey to use his years of experience to make selections that will motivate your guests to hit the dance floor.


Consultation

We want to get to know the people we work with. It is just as important to us as it is to our clients that your special day goes as planned. We will meet with you to discuss each detail and coordinate the days events.
Our user friendly planning forms will insure that everyone is aware of every detail.
Meeting our clients face to face is very important. It allows us to get a feel for the personalities of the people we are working with and it gives our clients the opportunity to meet personally with their DJ.
After the initial face to face consultation many of the details can be coordinated through our planning forms in the client log in area of our website. Further consultations can be done via phone conversation, emails or a final face to face consultation if requested by our clients.

Lighting
Spectrum Productions includes lighting in our pricing. You can choose 3 lights from any of the options listed on our lighting page. We recommend 1 mirrored ball to add ambiance to the dance floor during those special songs and slow dances and 2 of our club style sound activated lights. You will find descriptions and short video demonstrations in our lighting section
